This document specifies the characteristics of hexagon high nuts (style 2), in steel and stainless steel, with metric coarse pitch thread M5 to M39, and with product grades A and B. If in certain cases other specifications are requested, property classes and stainless steel grades can be selected from ISO 898-2 or ISO 3506-2.

EN ISO 4033:2023 / ISO 4033:2023 defines the characteristics, dimensions and delivery requirements for hexagon high nuts (style 2) made of steel and stainless steel, covering metric coarse pitch threads M5 to M39 and product grades A and B. The standard specifies dimensional tables, tolerance and thread class guidance, marking and labelling, and references for mechanical and surface requirements. Unless otherwise ordered, nuts are supplied without the optional washer-face.
