EN ISO 5754:2023 - "Sintered metal materials, excluding hardmetals - Unnotched impact test piece" defines the geometry and basic requirements for unnotched Charpy impact test specimens made from sintered metal materials. Published as a CEN-adopted version of ISO 5754:2023, this standard is aimed at powder metallurgy (PM) applications where impact testing on sintered parts or machined sintered specimens is required. It excludes hardmetals and clarifies when a notched specimen (see ISO 148-1) may be more appropriate.
