Scope: Rules apply to production drawings for moulded and non‑moulded prefabricated structural components; documentation may include drawings, specifications and schedules.
Presentation and references: Drawings shall follow relevant ISO technical drawing standards (for example ISO 128, ISO 5455, ISO 5457, ISO 3766 and ISO 6284 as cited). Preferred sheet sizes and scales are defined in those referenced standards.
Preferred scales: Examples given for consistency - main views and sections: 1:50, 1:20, 1:10; details: 1:20, 1:10, 1:5, 1:2 (per ISO 5455).
Dimensioning: Dimensions in millimetres; dimension from a common origin is preferred. Circular features are dimensioned to centre lines; rectangular recesses and holes to edges.
Tolerances: General tolerances are normally in specifications; any special tolerances must be indicated on figures in accordance with ISO 6284.
Designation and title block: Component identification must be clearly shown (preferably in the title block); when multiple components appear, designations should be adjacent to each main figure.
Reinforcement and built‑in parts: Reinforcement shall be indicated per ISO 3766. Built‑in parts must be precisely shown or referenced (detail drawings, catalogue numbers, specifications).
Surface requirements: Areas requiring special surface treatment are indicated (for example by a thick chain line) and referenced to specifications.
Moulding and handling provisions: Features affecting mould removal must be indicated and dimensioned. Lifting points and handling positions must be shown and dimensioned; marking methods and transport/storage requirements are provided by specification.
