SIST :1997 is an international standard that specifies the main dimensions of belts, idlers, and pulleys for light duty belt conveyors used in handling loose bulk materials. Developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), this standard ensures uniformity and interoperability in the design and manufacture of continuous mechanical handling equipment. It specifically applies to stationary light duty belt conveyors and excludes portable, mobile, or mining conveyor types.
