Overview
SIST ISO 29441:2011 specifies a standardized laboratory method for the determination of total nitrogen in water after inline UV digestion, using automated flow analysis techniques - both continuous flow analysis (CFA) and flow injection analysis (FIA) - with spectrometric detection. The method applies to a variety of waters (ground, drinking, surface and waste waters) and is optimized for undiluted sample mass concentration ranges such as 2 mg/L to 20 mg/L (other ranges allowed when the upper limit is exactly 10× the lower limit).
