Apparatus:

Device to apply and maintain constant internal water pressure.
Means to compensate axial stresses caused by pressure.
Pressure gauge with an accuracy of ±2%.

Procedure:

Fill with water at test temperature, wait ~20 minutes for thermal equalization, remove surface moisture.
Increase to the specified pressure within ~30 seconds and maintain for at least 1 hour while observing for leakage.
Test is satisfactory only if no leakage is observed during the period.

Test report: Must reference ISO 3603, record whether leakage occurred, list any deviations or external conditions affecting results, and provide procedural details not covered by the standard.
