Overview
ISO 5-4:2009 - "Photography and graphic technology - Density measurements - Part 4: Geometric conditions for reflection density" defines the geometric measurement conditions used to determine reflection density (reflectance-factor density) of photographic, print and other reflective materials. The standard specifies the ideal measurement geometry, practical tolerances for instrument design, requirements for polarization and backing material, and recommendations on accuracy and linearity. It is intended for densitometers and spectrophotometers used as densitometers.
