Overview
(identical to ) is an international standard that establishes the essential requirements and testing methods for overhead guards, operator leg and foot protection, roll-over protection systems (ROPS), and falling-object protection systems (FOPS) on high-lift, rider operated, powered industrial trucks with a lift height exceeding 1,800 mm. Its purpose is to increase operator safety by defining robust protective structures and standardized test procedures to reduce the risk of injury from falling objects, rollovers, or accidental contact during regular industrial truck operation.
