SIST ISO 9462:2017 (aligned with ISO 9462:2014) sets forth the requirements and test methods for alpine ski-bindings, ensuring their safety and performance for children, juniors, and adults in alpine skiing. Developed by the Slovenian Institute for Standardization (SIST), this standard establishes uniform criteria for the design, function, release mechanisms, and durability of ski-bindings.
