Abstract
Overview
SIST ISO 9685:1998 establishes a standardized method for determining the nickel and/or chromium content in iron ores using flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). Issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), this method is applicable for nickel and chromium concentrations ranging from 0.003% to 0.1% (mass/mass) in natural iron ores, iron ore concentrates, and agglomerates, including sinter products.
