ISO/TR 26369:2009 reviews and evaluates the methods which are currently used to assess, for regulatory or self-regulatory purposes, the photoprotection of sun protection products applied on human body. It is applicable to SPF and UVA protection, and both in vivo and in vitro methods.

Overview
CEN ISO/TR 26369:2009 (ISO/TR 26369:2009) is a Technical Report that reviews and evaluates the methods currently used to assess the photoprotection provided by sun protection products applied to the human body. It is informative in nature and intended as a scientific/technical framework to identify the most suitable methods for standardization by ISO/TC 217. The report covers both SPF (UVB) and UVA protection, and examines in vivo and in vitro approaches.
