Overview
CEN ISO/TS 19144-3:2024 - Land Use Meta Language (LUML) defines a Land Use Meta Language (LUML) expressed as a UML metamodel to describe, compare and integrate different land use classification systems. The Technical Specification provides a common reference structure for describing any generic Land Use classification system without replacing existing national or domain-specific classifications. LUML can be used independently to describe Land Use or together with ISO 19144-2 (Land Cover Meta Language, LCML) to support combined Land Cover–Land Use characterization.
