IEC 63522-41:2026 provides guidelines for the insulation coordination of electromechanical elementary, solid state, time, forcibility guided and reed relays as well reed contacts and hybrid switching solutions. This document can also be used for similar devices when specified in a detail specification.
Abstract
Overview
is a European standard developed by CLC, based on the international framework. It provides essential guidelines for insulation coordination of various types of electrical relays-including electromechanical elementary relays, solid state relays, time relays, forcibly guided relays, reed relays and contacts, and hybrid switching devices. The standard ensures that both safety and performance requirements are consistently met in relay products used across low-voltage electrical and electronic systems.
