Abstract
Overview
IEC 60064:1993 (consolidated with Amendments to 2005) specifies performance requirements for tungsten filament incandescent lamps used for domestic and similar general lighting purposes (GLS). The standard covers lamps that comply with the safety requirements of IEC 60432-1 and defines electrical, photometric, dimensional and life characteristics for typical GLS lamps with bulb shapes A or PS, finishes (clear, frosted, equivalently coated or white), and caps B22d, E26 or E27. Rated wattages covered are 25 W to 200 W and rated voltages 100 V to 250 V (including specified small voltage ranges).
