IEC 60335-2-107:2017

Overview

IEC 60335-2-107:2017 is the IEC particular standard that sets safety requirements and verification procedures for robotic battery powered electrical rotary lawnmowers and their peripherals. It applies to machines with battery rated voltage not more than 75 V d.c. and covers the robot (machine) separate from its charging station. EMC and environmental aspects (except noise) are not included. The standard excludes internal combustion, hybrid or fuel‑cell powered machines and charging systems, and applies only to machines manufactured on or after the publication date. Annex KK contains additional battery operation and charging requirements, including lithium‑ion battery charging.
