IEC 60335-2-13:2021 is the international safety standard for electric deep fat fryers, frying pans, woks and similar household appliances that use oil for cooking. It covers appliances intended for household and similar use with a recommended maximum oil quantity of not more than 5 L and a rated voltage of not more than 250 V. This seventh edition (2021) replaces the 2009 edition and its 2016 amendment and is intended to be used together with IEC 60335-1.
