blank detail specification is a supplementary document to the sectional specification and contains requirements for style and layout and minimum content of details specifications. Detail specifications not complying with these requirements may not be considered as being in accordance with IEC specifications nor shall they be so described.

Overview
IEC 60384-16-1:2005 is the blank detail specification for fixed metallized polypropylene film dielectric d.c. capacitors, covering assessment levels E and EZ. It is a supplementary document to the Part 16 sectional specification (IEC 60384-16) and defines the required style, layout and minimum content of detail specifications used to describe and qualify these capacitors. Detail specifications that do not follow IEC 60384-16-1 may not be regarded as in accordance with IEC publications.
