IEC 61386-22:2021 specifies the requirements for pliable conduit systems including self‑recovering conduit systems. This document is to be used in conjunction with IEC 61386-1:2008 and IEC 61386‑1:2008/AMD1:2017. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2002. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: - Annex AA has been added to provide guidance on the application of a constantly increasing force. The content of the corrigendum 1 (2025-04) applies only to the French version.

IEC 61386-22:2021 - "Conduit systems for cable management - Part 22: Particular requirements - Pliable conduit systems" specifies performance, construction and test requirements for pliable conduit systems, including self‑recovering conduit systems. This second edition (2021) is a technical revision that replaces the 2002 edition and is intended to be used together with IEC 61386-1:2008 and IEC 61386‑1:2008/AMD1:2017. A notable update is the addition of Annex AA, which gives guidance on applying a constantly increasing compression force during tests.
