IEC 61754-13:2024 defines the standard interface dimensions for the type FC-PC family of connectors. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition published in 2006. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: a) revising normative reference reflecting the latest documents; b) addition of intermateability in 5.2; c) changes of dimensions of the plug connector interface in Table 2 and Table 3; d) addition of Grade Am, Bm and Cm in Table 3. The content of the corrigendum 1 (2025-06) has been included in this copy.

IEC 61754-13:2024 - "Fibre optic interconnecting devices and passive components - Fibre optic connector interfaces - Part 13: Type FC‑PC connector family" - is the third edition (replacing the 2006 edition) that specifies standard interface dimensions and mechanical requirements for the FC‑PC connector family. The document defines plug, adaptor and active‑device receptacle interfaces (plug: IEC 61754‑13‑1; adaptor: IEC 61754‑13‑2; active device receptacle: IEC 61754‑13‑3), and includes drawings, tables and pin‑gauge requirements to ensure consistent mechanical and optical mating. This edition is a technical revision that updates normative references, adds intermateability rules, revises plug dimensions and introduces additional ferrule/grade classifications.
