Abstract
Overview
IEC 61992-6:2006 (consolidated with Amendments 1 and 2, edition 1.2, and Corrigendum 1 included) is an International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard for DC switchgear assemblies in railway fixed installations. It covers both metal‑enclosed and non‑metallic enclosed assemblies for indoor, stationary traction-system installations with nominal voltages up to 3 000 V d.c.. The consolidated edition reflects updates from 2014 and 2020 and incorporates the latest corrigendum (2025‑05) in this copy.
