This document specifies the test methods for quality control of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) extruded double- and triple-skin flat sheets, obtained from colourless and coloured transparent, translucent and opaque grades of materials. Overview
ISO 12017:2021 defines standardized test methods for quality control of extruded poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) double- and triple-skin flat sheets. It applies to colourless and coloured, transparent, translucent and opaque PMMA grades (homopolymers and MMA copolymers with ≥80 % MMA). The standard targets extruded sheets with a minimum width of 600 mm and is primarily intended for building and agricultural uses (notably greenhouses).
