ISO 14123-2:2015 - Safety of machinery: Reduction of risks to health resulting from hazardous substances emitted by machinery - Part 2 defines a practical methodology that leads to the selection of critical factors related to emissions of hazardous substances and the specification of suitable verification procedures. It is intended to be used together with ISO 14123-1:2015 (principles and specifications for machine manufacturers) and relates specifically to Clause 8 of that part. The standard is a Type B1 safety standard (per ISO 12100) and guides how to assess and verify hazards from emissions during all phases of a machine’s life cycle.
