ISO 14580:2011

Overview

ISO 14580:2011 is an international standard specifying the characteristics of hexalobular socket cheese head screws. This standard applies to product grade A screws with thread sizes ranging from M2 up to and including M10. Developed by ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 2, Subcommittee SC 10, this edition supersedes the original 2001 publication, incorporating minor revisions to improve clarity and usability. Hexalobular socket cheese head screws, often used for their superior torque transmission and reduced cam-out, are standardized to ensure consistency in dimensions, materials, mechanical properties, and surface treatments.
