Overview

ISO 19650-4:2022 - part of the ISO 19650 series on information management using Building Information Modelling (BIM) - specifies the detailed process and criteria for executing an information exchange. It explains how to ensure the quality, reliability and repeatability of information transferred between project teams and asset managers, and how to implement the concepts in ISO 19650‑1 across delivery stages (ISO 19650‑2) and operational trigger events (ISO 19650‑3). The standard applies to assets of all sizes and complexity - from single buildings to portfolios and infrastructure networks - and promotes proportional use of its requirements.
