Overview

ISO 1998-1:1998 - "Petroleum industry - Terminology - Part 1: Raw materials and products" is an international terminology standard published by ISO. It provides a bilingual (English/French) list of petroleum industry terms and their definitions related to raw materials and petroleum products, covering the chain from production to final user. This second edition is a full recast of earlier editions, introduces a new classification/numbering system and many additional terms, and was prepared by ISO/TC 28 (Petroleum products and lubricants), Subcommittee SC 1 (Terminology).
