ISO 2219:2010

Overview

ISO 2219:2010 - "Thermal insulation products for buildings - Factory-made products of expanded cork (ICB) - Specification" - defines requirements for factory-made expanded cork boards used as thermal insulation in buildings. It applies to boards made from granulated cork agglomerated with their natural binder, delivered without facings. The standard sets out product characteristics, testing procedures, evaluation of conformity, marking, labelling and packaging. It does not cover the performance of complete systems that incorporate these boards, nor does it set application-specific performance levels (those are determined by regulations or other standards).
