ISO 26622-2:2008 specifies the dimensions and designation of tapered receivers for the modular taper interface with ball track system used for automatic and manual tool exchange on machine tools (e.g., lathes, drilling machines, milling machines and turn/milling centres). The standard defines a range of nominal receiver sizes and the dimensional, tolerance and marking rules that ensure interchangeability and consistent performance of modular taper tool interfaces.
