Abstract
Overview
ISO 3338-1:1996 defines the dimensional characteristics of plain cylindrical shanks used on milling cutters. The standard applies to shank diameters from 3 mm to 63 mm and covers both single-ended and double-ended cutters. Dimensions are given in millimetres and presented in associated figures and tables (see figure 1 and table 1 in the standard).
