ISO 4586-2:2018

Overview

ISO 4586-2:2018 specifies standardized test methods for determining the physical and performance properties of high-pressure decorative laminates (HPL, HPDL)-sheets based on thermosetting resins (commonly called laminates). The methods are primarily intended for testing sheet grades described in ISO 4586‑3 to ISO 4586‑8. The standard harmonizes where possible with EN 438 and references related test standards (for example ISO 4892, ISO 291, ISO 62).

• Many tests include alternate Method A / Method B variants; either method may be used when both are published for the same property.
