Abstract
Overview
ISO 554:1976 defines standard atmospheres for conditioning and/or testing, establishing controlled atmospheric conditions that approximate natural environments. Developed by ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 125, this international standard specifies three different standard atmospheres that can be used during testing and conditioning processes to ensure consistency and comparability of test results across various climates. While multiple atmospheres are defined, the standard recommends selecting a single atmosphere appropriate to the specific application to simplify implementation.
