Overview

ISO 630-1:2021 - Structural steels - Part 1: General technical delivery conditions for hot-rolled products defines the general technical delivery conditions for hot‑rolled steel flat and long products (plates, sections, wide flats and bars) intended mainly for general-purpose structural steels used in welded or bolted structures. It sets out the purchaser/producer information, testing and inspection framework, and basic requirements that harmonize how structural steel is specified, supplied and verified. Note: sheet/strip and tubular products are excluded (covered by other ISO technical committees).
