Overview
ISO 6345:1990 - Shipbuilding and marine structures: Windows and side scuttles - Vocabulary is an ISO vocabulary standard that defines the terms and definitions used for shipboard windows and side scuttles. The standard provides authoritative English and French definitions and supplies equivalent terms in German, Finnish, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Swedish (see Annex A). It was prepared by ISO/TC 8 (Shipbuilding and marine structures), SC 8 (Windows and side scuttles) and includes a normative reference to ISO/R 1226:1970 (symbolic designation of direction of closing and faces).
