Cancels and replaces the first edition (1981). Specifies a test method to determine, on the one hand, the effect of fitting antidrip devices on nozzle flowrates, and, on the other hand, the opening and closing pressures. Applies to antidrip devices of agricultural sprayer nozzles, except for hand-held or hand-operated sprayers.

ISO 6686:1995 is an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that specifies test methods for evaluating antidrip devices used in crop protection sprayer nozzles. This second edition replaces the original 1981 version, providing a revised technical approach to assessing how antidrip devices affect nozzle flowrates and measuring their opening and closing pressures. The standard applies to agricultural sprayer nozzles except those that are hand-held or manually operated.
