Abstract
Overview
ISO 7721:1983 - "Countersunk head screws - Head configuration and gauging" defines the head geometry and verification method for metric countersunk head screws with thread sizes . The standard covers both slotted (fendue) and recessed (à empreinte) countersunk screw heads and recommends a gauging method to check the head dimensions specified in the applicable product standards. An annex provides the calculation basis used to derive gauging limits.
