ISO 7752-4:1989 - Cranes - Controls - Layout and characteristics - Part 4: Jib cranes defines the layout, direction of movement and basic operating characteristics of controls used on jib-type cranes. It establishes consistent arrangements for the primary controls for travelling, slewing, luffing, hoisting and lowering to reduce operator confusion and improve safety. The standard applies to jib cranes as defined in ISO 4306-1 and refers to the general principles set out in ISO 7752-1.
