ISO 7794:2011 - "Cross-country skis - Ski-binding screws - Requirements" specifies the dimensions, mechanical properties, mounting and fastening characteristics of screws used to mount ski bindings on cross-country skis. The standard aims to rationalize and improve safety of binding mounting by standardizing drill hole diameters, penetration depths, screw geometry and torque characteristics so manufacturers, service shops and installers use consistent, reliable components and procedures.
