ISO 7960:1995 - Airborne noise emitted by machine tools - Operating conditions for woodworking machines - defines the mechanical and acoustical specifications needed for reproducible airborne noise testing of woodworking machines. Used together with the basic noise-emission standards, ISO 7960 specifies standard operating conditions, test materials, microphone positions and reporting details for measurements across 19 types of woodworking machines (see annexes A–U).
