Applies to original reports of measured data and to reports or other publications which assess, summarize, compare or compile measured data from original reports.

Overview
ISO 8002:1986 - Mechanical vibrations - Land vehicles - Method for reporting measured data specifies a uniform, minimum-content method for reporting vibration measurements on land vehicles and work machines. It covers original measurement reports and secondary reports that compile, compare or summarize measured data. The standard aims to make vibration results (spectra, magnitude distributions, r.m.s. values) comparable and reusable by defining required parameters, formats and presentation rules.
