ISO 9513:2012 - "Metallic materials - Calibration of extensometer systems used in uniaxial testing" specifies a method for the static calibration of extensometer systems used during uniaxial mechanical testing. The standard covers both , including (clip-on) and (laser, video, digital image correlation) systems. It defines principles, required calibration equipment, pre-calibration inspection, gauge-length measurement, the calibration process, uncertainty evaluation, reporting and calibration intervals.
