ISO 12193:2004 specifies a method for the determination of trace amounts (greater than 0,001 mg/kg) of lead in all types of crude or refined edible oils and fats.
Abstract
Overview
EN ISO 12193:2004 is an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and adopted by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). It specifies a precise analytical method for determining trace levels of lead (Pb) in all types of crude and refined edible animal and vegetable fats and oils. The method utilizes , a sensitive technique capable of detecting lead concentrations as low as 0.001 mg/kg.
