Abstract
Overview
ISO 10298:2018/Amd 1:2021 is an important amendment to the international standard governing gas cylinders and their safety features. This update focuses specifically on the determination of toxicity for the selection of cylinder valve outlets used with gases and gas mixtures. Developed by ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 58 and Subcommittee SC 2, it ensures that users and manufacturers properly evaluate toxic risks when choosing valve outlet connections on gas cylinders.
