Abstract
Overview
ISO 19095-1:2015 - Plastics - Evaluation of the adhesion interface performance in plastic‑metal assemblies - Part 1: Guidelines for the approach provides high‑level guidance for assessing the adhesion interface in hybrid plastic‑metal structures. It describes the purpose and framework for evaluation methods, conditioning, apparatus and categories of tests used to characterize joint performance (mechanical strength, sealing and durability). This Part 1 is the guideline document in a four‑part series (Parts 2–4 cover test specimens, test methods and environmental durability respectively).
