Overview
ISO 3164:2013/Amd 1:2024 is the latest amendment to the international standard governing laboratory evaluations of protective structures for earth-moving machinery. This amendment focuses on specifications for the deflection-limiting volume (DLV), a critical safety parameter during protection structure testing. As earth-moving machinery operates in challenging environments, robust protective structures, including roll-over protective structures (ROPS) and tip-over protection structures (TOPS), are essential to safeguard operators.
