Overview

ISO 9313:1989 specifies requirements for cooling tubes used in resistance spot welding equipment. The standard covers dimensions and tolerances, the required cut-off angle at the tube end to ensure adequate water flow, designation rules, acceptable materials, and marking requirements. It applies to both rigid (Type A) and flexible (Type B) cooling tubes used with electrode adaptors and holders in spot-welding systems.
