Abstract
Overview
ISO/IEC 10646:2020/Amd 1:2023 is Amendment 1 to the Universal Coded Character Set (UCS). It extends the ISO/IEC 10646 character repertoire to add new scripts and blocks - notably , , , , and many other characters and blocks - and introduces updates aligned with . The amendment updates normative references, code charts, source reference files, and mechanisms for character metadata (such as name aliases and variation sequences).
