There’s a growing demand for battery storage, with the market estimated to be worth £8 billion to the UK and £50 billion to Europe by 2025. In the UK, demand is driven in part by government’s commitment to ban new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2035. With that in mind, PAS 7061 provides an overview of good practice in relation to the safe and environmentally-conscious handling of electric vehicle batteries.
