Abstract
Overview
EN ISO 28139:2021/A1:2024 is Amendment 1 to the European adoption of ISO 28139 (knapsack combustion engine‑driven airblast sprayers). Published by CEN in 2024, this type‑C standard defines for portable, engine‑driven knapsack airblast sprayers used in crop protection. It is intended to support conformity with the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC, as amended) and provides presumption of conformity when its normative clauses are respected.
