EN ISO 3671:2023 is the updated international standard specifying the procedure for determining volatile matter in aminoplastic moulding materials, primarily focusing on moisture content. Developed by ISO/TC 61 and endorsed by CEN in 2023, this standard replaces the previous 1998 edition to reflect the latest industry practices. It details a reliable oven-drying method to quantify the amount of volatile substances, such as water, present in aminoplastic plastics used for moulding applications.
