Standard audiometric frequencies 125 Hz–8 kHz (preferred order starts at 1 kHz), and extended frequencies 8–16 kHz (preferred set from IEC 60645-4).
Dynamic range: at least ±30 dB relative to expected threshold (±40 dB at 16 kHz).
Short‑duration signals (clicks, tone bursts) per IEC 60645-3.
