Test rig & equipment: sled + test bench, hinged panel with 55 mm padding, seat belt and ISOFIX anchorages, top tether and seat bight anchorages. ISOFIX attachments and (for some setups) the backrest are allowed to move in Y direction (up to 200 mm) to avoid excessive loading on attachments.

Instrumentation & measurements: comply with ISO 6487 and ISO 8721. Measured parameters include sled acceleration/Δv, panel angular velocity, head and chest tri‑axial accelerations, neck forces/moments, optional chest compression, and head displacement (video).

Installation & test dummies: New untested CRS only. Installation per Annex A (belted) or ISO 13216‑1 / ECE R44 (ISOFIX). Dummy selection is left to state‑of‑the‑art recommendations.
